Get it on tape. Get it right the first time. Keep everyone happy.

Careful planning and good design can lead to careful and thoughtful execution. The magic happens then, and again later.

Video Recording Overview

From lowly television to high-definition, in theater projections systems, image quality is determined by the cameras and techniques used to record it. You have to decide what your viewing mechanism will be, and then match that up with the appropriate camera system. Of course, as hinted at in previous sections, audio and lighting will have an impact, but the recording tools are very important.

Apologies to other aspects of the productions process!!! ...of course, actors' talent and performances, wardrobe, set design, and others all contribute. But, when these are equal, then the capture mechanism has the final say in what you can do with your production.
