SCA 13 - Other

Over and over and over...

We sometimes refer to this as our rerun channel. We try to keep programs going 24 hours per day and seven days per week here. That's a lot of time slots to fill and our library struggles to keep up. That's why there are so many repeats.

Other Programming

Thanks to PEG Media ORG, we have a lot of new and interesting programming that we can add to our own, home grown lineup. We pick and chose programs from the pool of programs that other PEG stations create, based on what we think folks would like to see on Channel 13.

Here are some of the series we include...

Link TV Explore (LE)

Link TV provides high quality videos about parts of the world that most people won't get a chance to see. "The team's missions, created by Charles Annenberg Weingarten, have led them to places where suffering is met with compassion and where the human spirit is kept alive by people who have dedicated their lives to humanity, not material gain. Among Explore's founding principles are "Share What You Know" and "Never Stop Learning." These concepts have guided the team through Tanzania, Ethiopia, Ghana, Sudan, Darfur, Rwanda, China, Tibet, India, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Israel, The Vatican, The Arctic, Greenland, Costa Rica, Canada and many U.S. cities. The journey for the Explore team continues with its core mission in mind - to champion the selfless acts of others to inspire a revolution of giving." (quoted from PEGMedia.ORG)

Jook Joint (JJ)

A blues show from Midpenninsula Community Access in Palo Alto California by E C Scott. "ECS Productions creates video programs for a Blues loving, community minded television viewing audience. We seek to unite dedicated followers of all Blues and other Traditional African American genres in an effort to strengthen the industry. ECS provides a complimentary outlet for artists and labels to showcase their talents! We are the only company of this kind dedicated to the unification, preservation and expansion of the Blues community" (quoted from PEGMedia.ORG)

About Our Projects And Schedule

Our schedule is automatically generated for us by our video controller system. Unfortunately, there's not much room for descriptive titles. So, for better or worse, here's a guide to help you decipher our cryptic codes:
